A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

·      Although your unconscious mind comprises 70% of your of all your mind and body functions, your subconscious beliefs, habits, reactions, values are the software that guides everything.

·      Everything can be changed with a disciplined approach to rewiring your brain through your conscious mind at any age.

·      Our brain wants to create patterns, our subconscious structures events into patterns.

·      50-70% of personality is developed before age 8.

·      75% of self-esteem is developed before age 8.

·      On average our habits take 66 days to change (not 21 days).

·      Imaginations for children are up to 2500 times greater than adults – (you can train to reestablish).

·      Practice the acronym TIME each morning before digital: Thanksgiving, Inspiration, Mindfulness/Meditation, and Exercise. Try for just 30 days to see a difference.

  • Every thought causes a physical reaction and an emotional response within you.

  • Your mind responds to the pictures you construct and the words you tell yourself.

  • What is expected tends to be realized.

  • Forgive yourself and others.

•       4 P’s - Be Positive, Stay in the Present, Make it Personal, Practice it often.

•       Remembering Names: Say it, Use it, Ask about it, Visualize it, End with it – the #1 reason you don’t remember is saying “I don’t remember”.

·      Making better decisions with my 5R’s: Recognition – being mindful and aware of thoughts. Reflection – observing and examining deeply the cause of your actions. Reframing – considering how you could say or do it differently. Refocusing - your thoughts to a positive perspective. Referencing – remind yourself how far you have come.
