THE DOOR OF LIFE SWINGS INWARD

These words got me curious, and I now pursue four concepts – three of them  made up. Robin Sharma coined the concepts I see them as filters to use as an overlay daily.

1. Mindset. Most of us realize the importance of mindset. It is the stories we tell ourselves and the foundation of our beliefs. It encompasses our thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes towards yourself, others, and life itself. A good mindset is characterized by optimism, resilience, and a growth mentality. By challenging limiting beliefs and cultivating positive self-talk, you build achievement. It can affect our epigenetics and neurobiology. But as Robin states it: It is only 25% of the equation.

2. Heartset. You can have a great mindset but if your emotional life is stuck in the past, you won’t know how to fill the holes. Your heartset is your capacity for love, compassion, and joy. Cultivating a healthy Heartset involves acknowledging and processing emotions constructively. It means letting go of negativity and fostering gratitude, forgiveness, and empathy. It also means developing gratitude practices, engaging in acts of kindness, and managing stress effectively.

3. Healthset. If this is not present it affects everything else with dis-ease, lack of energy and generally a lack of longevity. Robin says: “Never let an old person into your body!”  I also like his 20/20/20 rule – get up early and use the first hour to spend 20 minutes exercising, 20 minutes meditating, and 20 minutes learning for a successful day.

It is the powerhouse that fuels your entire being. A healthy body provides the energy and stamina necessary to pursue your goals and dreams. Prioritizing nutritious food, regular exercise, and quality sleep creates a foundation of physical and mental well-being.

4. Soulset. This encompasses your spirituality and your humanity. It is where we need to turn down our ego from me to we. It is your sense of purpose and connection to something larger than ourselves. It's about discovering our core values and aligning our actions with them. Mastering our Soulset means living your values and journaling, quiet reflection, spending time in nature, and meditation.

Unlock your full potential and create a life brimming with purpose, passion, and well-being. Remember, you are the ruler of your own domain – conquer your interior empires and claim your power! Mastery is not a destination, but a continuous journey.
